You have got to believe we had special forces on the ground very close to the bunker when it was struck. They would eavesdropped in on all the activity following the attack. They ought to have a pretty good idea whether Saddam was there.

I don't like this. Saddam has a "doomsday" plan: trick the US into believing he's dead, allow coalition forces to occupy Bagdhad, and then start a massive anthrax release.
