You don't know what it was like for me as a kid. I had to watch five minutes of grainy footage each night to follow the Six Day War. Can you believe it! A war that actually lasted a FULL SIX days. Thank god you have wars that take place over the span of hours and not days.

Yeah, Americans were really stupid letting WWII go on for four years.
Like wow, that's like a long time, like, ya know?

I'd vote for either Ms. Shue or Lauren Green.....if you'll allow me to make a "typical guy coment" for a second, FNC by far has the prettiest female newscasters on TV.

FOX was discussing it, too. Apparently, the break in bombing Bagdad is to give them time to weigh their options. Military advisor said we shouldn't wait much longer than noon tomorrow or it could get real dangerous.
To: roob
it's a problem if you're approaching the war as a form of television entertainment, yes.

Believe nothing from a company that hired Peter Arnett.

Boy! Are you spoiled, or what? Back in the old days, it would take weeks and months and in the really, really old days, years and years to do what these great men and women have done in hours. Little Miss Instant Gratification! (Just kidding)

I am beginning to wonder if we're just trying to prod Saddam into doing one huge purge... Could very well be. Surely a dictator's life is not a happy one (to paraphrase G&S); always wondering who's plotting to overthrow you--why not help the paranoia along, so that he'll start killing underlings of whom he's suspicious?

"an interesting possibility. i looked more closely at the saddam video this evening, and the guy was breathing too slowly -- either drugged to the gills or terribly wounded or both. this would make it more likely that others decide to freelance. " Me too. I'm less convinced today than I was last night that it is Saddam.

It certainly is a bucking the trend as far as wars go..... More of a "Wait & See" war than "Shock & Awe"...

Is it just me or is this the slowest damned war ever. Well, I wasn't there, but I've read about a "Hundred Years War". Sit back, take a shower, have a drink and chill.
