Dear Prime Minister;
I have to thank you for your courage, fidelity, friendship, and sacrifice for all you have done for us here in America.

I don't think that you and your people have been properly thanked by us here.

I am ashamed to say that I've come to take for granted the friendship of the United Kingdom. No more. I will, from here on out, remind my friends and countrymen every time I can of the constant and true friends we have in the British.

You and your brave countrymen prove again and again that true allies can and should be steadfast friends. Every Briton I have ever encountered has been a courteous, intelligent, and good all-around guy or gal. I've never been insulted nor sneered at by any British subject I've ever encountered. A couple have drunk me under the table, but it was all in good fun. (Boy, could that girl drink!)

I am sure there must be four or five bad-tempered, ill-mannered Britons skulking about - but they will never diminish my joy at meeting a British subject from this point onwards.

Now, you are getting a lot of headaches, I have read, from your neighbors in Europe and from some unintentionally hilarious politician/comedian/absurdists in your House of Commons. You deserve much better, and deserve to know of the respect you have earned by your courage and actions.

I must also tell you of the deep concern and care which we here in America hold your brave armed forces. It is humbling to remember all the times the British have come to help us. It is galling to realize how few thanks we as a nation have given your proud people.

This should be remedied.

And so, in a small way, I hope to start showing my gratitude towards you and your people.

Thank you. You've done more for the US than I can ever express. I will greet every Briton I meet with a grin and with gratitude.

I hope more Americans are letting you all know how much we appreciate the UK. May God Bless and Keep Great Britain.

Even I disagree with Blair, however there is a time and place for disagreements, this is not one of them. Personally I think that Blair is finished.. His party will kick him out.
