I am listening to local Radio (Columbus Ohio) they have Ted Koppel on and he is describing to a T "Hyper-war" that Tom Clancy wrote about in the Bear and the Dragon.
He is describing the rolling command vehicles that have at the touch of a button can show postions of all allied troops as well as the enemy postions via satellites and drone planes.
If Clancy is right then (And usually he is spot on about his technology) War is definitely changed. The Fog of War is not a hinderance any longer!

Not too many of such opponents around, to be sure, but I imagine the Chinese are taking notes, and the French will sell them anything they need ....
