Sounds familiar. We were all very seriously concerned about EMP in the mid'70s, I even knew people who maintained kits of shielded vacuum tube back-up electronics, unassembled.

Just dropped in on the EMP comment. Help educate me, do we have the capability to determine the area effected by the blackout (i.e., 100 yard radius or 1 mile radius)?
