Poor Ollie should have stayed at home. He is not in shape for this. He was huffing and puffing after the first missle from the Iraqis.

We don't have radar-guided AAA anymore. I doubt it had enough heat signature for a Stinger.

Your support is appreciated. None of us knows what the casualties will be, or how long this will last. We're hoping and praying that the prosecustion is short, swift and precise.
Thank you for your pledge to undo Herr Schroeder.

Thanks for the support. Pacifying the planet's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it.

Well, this wasn't supposed to start at all until either tonight or maybe tomorrow night. But the airstrikes against the leadership targets meant that the war was brought forward, but the planned start is still not happening yet, it may not happen even tonight.

What kind of war coverage do you guys have access to in Germany?

I know we don't have all the data that Franks does....but why are we reacting to the Iraqis and not making them react to us????

Pulling your gun and firing once seems pretty dumb to me. Why the hell are we just sitting there. I could understand the ground troops having to endure some scuds during an air campain but it doesn't seem that we are doing that either! Is Franks looking for his keys or something.

Could the Iraqis have flown that small plane over our forces on a recon to spot for the Scud attacks??

They may also be waiting for the cover of darkness where our superiority is best displayed. It will be dark in Baghdad in about two hours I believe. I'm not going to get a thing done at work today.

We are trying to draw them out of their holes. Once they fire, we can pinpoint them and destroy them. If they move, we nail them. You can't exactly fly over and say "Oh look, three mortars".

Scuds aren't aimed; they are lobbed. It could be designating targets for the Sunburns or just testing our defenses.
