FNC reporting that the oil port that was struck earlier was hit by a malfunctioning cruise missle that did no serious damage.

Moving speech. Concise. Compassionate. Tough.

Just dropped in on the EMP comment. Help educate me, do we have the capability to determine the area effected by the blackout (i.e., 100 yard radius or 1 mile radius)?
To: Fledermaus
Bravo to the speaker.

Fox News - the projectile that struck an oil terminal a bit south of Kuwait City was a malfunctioning cruise missile; no major damage, no numbers on injuries (there are injuries, though).

Reports that Basra has fallen are in error. I suspect we're in the process of investing the town now. Probably some RG bitter-enders hanging tough.

It's near midnight in the region and I expect fireworks during the wee hours. Civilians at home. Night vision favors the good guys. Sirens went off in BAG a few minutes ago.

Are you using Howlin's live thread ping list as well? I'm on that list.
To: steveegg
yeah - an kim jong mentally ill also invented electricity, the internet and is king of the world. Megalomania must run rampant in Sadaam's neck of the woods
To: Mad Dawgg
I can't claim credit for it, should have attributed to a caller to the Howie Carr show, a few minutes ago.

So it's a lie about stopping advance from Jordan? Put your money on it. Sky mentioned that the source was the Iraqis.

Yep, exactly. I'm not sure what they are talking about. Stopped an advance of American forces?
