if a show is on cable, does it have the same freedom of speech rights as broadcast shows? could the feds jam MTV for a few months without having the lefties start crying about free expression? i think it's time we start to silence the daschle-clinton-mtv iron triangle.

My understanding is that it has more. The FCC claims authority to partially regulate over the air broadcasts because the spectrum is a limited resource, but that doesn't apply to cable.

Regardless, censorship of idiotic views is not the answer, refuting them with facts and logic is.
