I posted this on another thread ..... would like to repeat it here .... excuse the vanity.

A couple of random thoughts I've had.

A daybreak attack was unexpected ..... but would be so much less frightening for the citizens of Iraq than to have the bombs coming in during the night. A gesture by our President towards the people of Iraq?

A couple of lines from our National Anthem keep going through my head .....

..... "Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light ..."

..... "The land of the free"

May the people of Iraq soon taste of freedom!

May God be with the troops in the liberating forces!

Ya know, reading what your wrote, and looking at the pictures of Baghdad, and seeing the red sky morning, I got a series case of the shivers!
