How awful for your family! It was an emotional enough time for all of us without the personal tragedies to deal with also. Prayers that you and your family continue in your healing!

Could you imagine if we got him on the first strike? That would be incredible. I want to believe it but I just don't think it's possible.
I'm a jumble of nerves. We have been anticipating this for months but I just started crying when it started. W was awesome - calm, measured and resolute.
PEACE LIKE A RIVER....God Speed to all our troops!

I thought the same thing. What an amazing thing if we got BUTTHEAD on the 1st strike. That to me would be confirmation of God's power and leading our great President who seeks His guidance daily. Wow! Let's hope and pray!

The Dims are suffering badly, their last best hero to defeat Bush might already be dead. heheheheheh

Man, I sure hope so.

That was me when I was still intaking caffine. I would get a migraine-type withdrawl if I didn't have any. I weaned off of it, and haven't missed it since.( but it's a pain at parties and when visting family, since they forget I don't drink anything with caffine...)
I salute you for your choice. It leaves more for me. (j/k)

Difficult week for our family. I'm just now still working through all the emotions of that week.
I'm so sorry. That is such a nightmare in my memory. The wife of a civilian who had worked for my husband at V CORPS died in the Pentagon that day. We had just farewelled them a couple of months earlier. They never did find her body.

Our local news showed some troops who are here to load ships in the local port. They are in a Holiday Inn right now. They showed footage of the soldiers as President Bush spoke earlier. They were in a lounge area with chairs and sofas but EVERY SOLDIER was STANDING as the President spoke. It gave me chills!

Yep, the dems can only benefit if we lose the war. They're always looking out for Number One.

Holy cow!!!! CBS radio says Iraqi TV is down, and the Americans are broadcasting on the Iraqi radio. In other words, we have control of the media. FANTASTIC!
"Time of liberation has come" is what the Iraqis are hearing.

FOX saying that both Lieberman and Edwards have made statements in support of the President.
Wish I thought it was for anything but political expediency .... I have become quite cynical about all 'rats.
Edwards really has no choice but to make the right noises ..... we have very large military bases in NC.

Actually the only problem is that when people post graphics they don't post the height and width so the computer can take a long time trying to load it - and it won't load anything else until the picture is finished, because it doesn't know how much space will be needed for the picture. And ... some people who are on dial-up have difficulty with pictures, but that's it.

Absolutely feels great. I wasn't terribly impressed with his Dad, but have since decided that anyone would have paled in comparison to Reagan. Now almost anything would have been better than Clinton, but we got the best of the bunch. I sleep well at day :-)

I completely agree. The only reason these two have spoken out in support of the President is strictly for political reasons. I know that secretly they wish the war will be a failure. It's the pure evil running through their veins.

How about we don't give any of these stupid DEMS any "air time" by even mentioning their names at all! I don't care WHAT they say NOW about Bush or our military guys or loving the U.S.A.
It is too late. Let's not even recognize them. I say they are unworthy of any press.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you! :-)
