It seems to have begun. Go to this link: http://www.msnbc.com/m/mw/mw.asp?t=V&id=live_video/chan1&sk=live_video&pl=&name=cover&opt=0 and turn up your volume. You can hear what sounds like planes (who knows, maybe its missles) flying overhead, then you hear what sounds like bombs going off in the distance. This just began about 10 minutes ago, it has been totally quiet.

Fox seems to be indicating a TLAM (Tomahawk) attack went in.

BBC reporting big barage of anti-aircraft fire just seconds ago. Just full-strength random shooting, like back in 1991.

...why the iraquis keep the city lights "on"?????
No idea on that one, but I *do* know how many Iraq men it takes to change a light bulb!
Ha.
[Bad taste, I know. However, I simply couldn't resist.]

I think the US is actually waiting for sunrise to maximize the visual effect of the onslaught. The cruise missles don't care what time of day it is. FOX is reporting that Tomahawk missiles were fired at Iraqi leadership positions...

My dream speech from President Bush: "We have Osama, we killed Saddam, and we are now disarming the rest of Iraq. Now, I'm tired and going to bed."

Stormin' Norman on MSNBC said he was rather surprised that senior officials would let everybody know that we plan two raids.
Was that just the first one?

You know, I was just thinking about the Tariq Aziz defection thing today. Notice that there was this 'rumor' about him defecting, he comes out and says, 'no, i'm here.'
Some special forces paints him as a target, he gets a visit from a missle a few hours later.
Too funny :)

I hate to say it, but the BBC isn't bad tonight. Maybe events are moving too fast for them to get in thier leftist digs.
