Am I the only one that doubts war will come tonight? Surprise is a major element of war and I believe that the war will come at 0 dark 30 in the next few days. But NOT tonight!

Am I the only one that doubts war will come tonight? Probably not. But it would be fitting for Bush to be punctual with this, as he has been puntual on every other substantive comment (e.g., diplomacy ends in 10 days, etc.)

After 6 months, nothing is a surprise.

Our troops are sitting ducks so long as they wait. They are safest (from chemical or biological attack) when they are moving in the field. This is why I think the troops will be moving within the next couple of hours. Meanwhile, our planes will probably be bombing day and night for the next three days at least.

Am I the only one that doubts war will come tonight? No, I doubt it too. In fact, I still hold hope that the President will instead announce that Sadaam is on a plane with his family, heading for exile and that war has been averted.
