Great. DEBKA finally got around to reading the Millenium Challenge '02 news coverage.

In other times, Debka is entertaining. Now with war starting, I think we should refrain from posting their nonsense and stick to news.

Is that info in their newsletter only? 'Cause I don't see it on their site.

Oh gosh, I am so worried about these wooden boats taking out our aircraft carriers. But they are nowhere near as bad as the little yellow plastic ducks they are releasing.

What a joke. Iraq has one access to the Persian Gulf - the Shatt Al Arab waterway. And you can bet your bottom dollar that NOTHING is moving on that waterway without the express written consent of the United States Air Force. More Debka crap.

Please put the word DEBKA in the headline when you post articles from this not-always reliable source.

Actually, I believe this is DEBKA once again repackaging info already long avaliable in multiple other source; the Kuwaiti Navy engaging a number of Iraqi Dhows (which are wooden boats); that was yesterday.

DEBKA is about 80% repackaged info they rip off from other sources, with more exciting wording, and 20% complete and total fabrication.

I think it's been made abundantly clear over the past couple of years that it's wise not to bet the farm on Debka stories. But I'd also like the opportunity to read them and real comments, instead of the inevitable, wholly useless hundred or so snide comments about Debka. If you don't like to read Debka, how about just don't read it and knock off all the sarcasm that has gotten really really old and contributes zero to discussion of the issue at hand.
