What song should the Air Cav play as they storm Baghdad?

Remember the scene in "Apocalypse Now" where the Air Cav attacks the Vietcong village, and "Ride of the Valkyries" is blaring from a speaker on the lead copter? I was wondering what songs would be apropos for this war? Any good ideas? I thought a good one would be "The End" by The Doors.

Dogs of War" by Pink Floyd. I think some of the lyrics go like this

The Dogs of war won't negotiate

The Dogs of War won't negotiate

You will die so that they may live

Ivan may disagree with The Imperial March being evil music. In fact, I disagree with that too.

"FREEPIN' AT THE WHITE HOUSE"

Oh, someone has to write and sing such first . . . details.

"FREEPIN' TO THE MAX"

Oh, same problem.

"FREEPIN' FLAT-OUT"

ditto

"FREEPIN' EM FLAT!"

"FREEPIN' THE DUNGEONS!"

FREEPIN SAD TIL HE'S DAMNED

FREEPIN' EM UP ONE SIDE AND DOWN THE OTHER

. . .

We can't forget Another One Bites the Dust

What about The Immigrant Song? Send some Viking Kitties over to Baghdad. Actually, anything by Led Zepplin would make excellent bombing music.

Hell's Bells. My all time favorite tune I played when punching off rockets, hellfires and 30mm. I am also particular to The Stone's "Gimme Shelter"

perhaps, black sabbath's "Iron Man" would do it. I remember the Road Warriors from professional wrestling going to the ring with that tune playing, and it was frightening.

I would agree. Why mess with the classics. You really can't do better than "Ride of the Valkyries".

But if it must be modern, I'd have to go with "Rock and Roll Part II", an annoying little ditty that would be completely forgotten if it were not blasted at 120 decibels at every sporting event in the US for the last 15 years.

Or maybe "YMCA".

The t.u. band is suited to playing French accordion music, not war hymns.

Gig 'em Aggies.

t.u. austin is full of proto-marxist anti-american hippies.
