[history]
WASHINGTON (AP) - The parents of American peace activist killed by an Israeli bulldozer are calling for an investigation of the incident by U.S. authorities. The parents of 23-year-old Rachel Corrie, joined by Rep. Brian Baird, D-Wash., said it was important for the United States to hold Israel to the same standards it would hold a U.S. soldier to in similar circumstances.

I knew it. I think an investigation should be called into their parenting skills.

I see where the liberal indocrination of this girl started - at home. It's everyone's fault except hers, according to the parents.

Here's what happened: She stepped in front of a bulldozer as it was about to take down a structure that was enabling the Hamas to smuggle in weapons from Egypt with which to murder Israeli women and children with nuts, bolts, and other jagged objects. She was then run over by the bulldozer, and died. She was stupid.

Maybe they ought to demand an investigation of the commies and leftists who organize the type of effort in which Corrie was participating.
Tho I am assuming that the parents also harbor sympathy for the extreme Left.

Paraphrasing Vladimir Putin, when he was asked what happened to the Kursk submarine ("It sunk"), Ms. Corrie "was crushed".
What's so hard to understand?

"It seems the bulldozer willingly pushed forward," Baird said, citing eyewitness accounts from peace activists. Same eyewintess accounts that claimed that she got ran over and then the driver backed up?

After seeing her "before" photo (the one where she exudes pure hate in the midst of all those children), I think a retroactive visit from some child services outfit is more in order.

The parents should be forced to pay for any damage done to the bulldozer.

This little leftie stuck her nose in business that didn't concern her. She thought she could impose her will on a bulldozer operator and extort him by blocking his route, thereby, preventing him from carrying out the will of his superiors. By standing in the way, she became the enemy and her life wasn't worth a fart in the wind.
These people believe the leftist propaganda too much. "Why can't we all just get along" is not persuasive when people are being blown to bits on busses as they go to work. She was doing something stupid, maybe, criminal, and came up against a person who hadn't seen all the Hollywood barbra streisand [BS]. What's to investigate? She will be a hero only to a bunch of west coast loser commies. To much of the rest of the country, she was just a stupid leftie who wasn't agile enough for her mission.

Maybe they should investigate why their daughter was over there setting fire to hand-drawn American flags for the benefit of her Palestinian admirers and press.

Terrorists' shields are now "peace activists"? Ms. Corrie is captured on several photos ripping an American flag in front of Pal. children, showing her hatred for her country. She shields tunnels used to smuggle weapons used to mass murder Israeli women and children.
She was not a "peace activist", she was a shield for the terrorists, an accomplice in their deeds.

Take a look at who spoke at Evergreen State's commencement a few year's back. None other than Mumia Abu Jamal -- on tape. Another article on Corrie cited one of her professors as 'fellow activist'.
Radicalism looks so cool when you are young and around enabling 'adults', especially when all you see is a lifetime of middle class drudgery creeping up on you. But radical chic can be dangerous and there can be awful repurcussions.
Sorry, you played the game and you lost, Rachel.
Lori Berenson in prison in Peru now wants the evil US to save her ass for romanticizing 'revolution'. It doesn't work that way, senorita.

"I can't understand (what happened). I won't understand." I think the second sentence sums it up.
