Sounds like great screenplay material. Those sh#ts from Hollywood will probably turn it into a made-for-cable-TV movie. Now, who would play the arrestee??

It could have been a rescue. Issa could have been a CIA operative that was uncovered. An attempt was made on him, that failed, and he was pulled out.

We'll probably never know.

To all you laid off techies who are griping about there not being "any jobs", please note that those 6 Americans may very well have made their own jobs by going bounty hunting for any number of $20 Million men on our Most Wanted list.

... and apparently they got one of them.

Somalia says Qaeda suspect handed to U.S. agents

By James Macharia

NAIROBI, March 19 (Reuters) - Somali militiamen handed a wounded Yemeni al-Qaeda suspect over to U.S. FBI agents who flew him to an unknown destination, a Somali official said on Wednesday.

Hassan Mohamed, information officer in the prime minister's office, said Somalia's transitional government (TNG) was not involved in the arrest.

The TNG controls only parts of the capital Mogadishu and pockets of the rest of the war-torn country. Areas outside its control are in the hands of rival warlords.

Mohamed said the Yemeni national was captured by militia loyal to one of the country's several warlords at a hospital north of the capital Mogadishu.

He was then handed over to Federal Bureau of Investigation agents waiting at a nearby airport.

"We were informed by hospital officials that one man of Yemeni nationality was arrested at the Kaysaney hospital in the northern part of Mogadishu," Mohamed told Reuters by telephone.

"He was arrested by the militia of the warlord Dheere, and taken to a nearby airport where about four or five American FBI agents were waiting in an aircraft and took him away."

It was not known where the suspect had been taken, he said.

Mohamed said he did not know the name of the Yemeni national, but sources in the capital had informed him that the man was suspected to be linked to the Islamic militant group al-Qaeda.

Somali officials said the Yemeni national had been kidnapped by militias and wounded in a gun battle as police tried to rescue him from the kidnappers.

"Police rescued him but he was wounded in the process and he went to the Kaysaney hospital, where militia of the warlord Dhere took him and handed him over to some white men, who were either Israelis or American," Mohamed said.

Somalia, torn apart by factional fighting since the overthrow of military ruler Mohammed Siad Barre in 1991, is seen as a potential hideout to operatives linked to extremist groups.

Kenya says it has Qaeda suspect seized in Somalia

NAIROBI, March 19 (Reuters) - Kenya said on Wednesday it had arrested a suspected al Qaeda member for questioning over terrorist attacks in east Africa.

The country's internal security minister Chris Murungaru said in a statement that the suspect had been arrested in a joint effort by Kenya security forces and "peace-loving" leaders in neighbouring Somalia.

"Kenya police have in their custody a suspected al Qaeda operative for questioning over multiple terrorist attacks in east Africa," Murungaru said.

Hey they're only 1 1/2. 3 and 7 (and I'm scared the 7 y.o. would go to school repeating lines, like he did Monty Python to his kindergarten teacher)(with a fake British accent)

Don't worry, they will be exposed to all the cultural grandeur of Mel Brooks. lol

I think what you are seeing here are the results of
Khalid Mohammads "cooperation" and the documents he possessed when he was captured.
