A's and Mariners 2003 Opening Series Rescheduled

Major League Baseball has announced that next week's two-game opening series between the Athletics and Mariners in Tokyo, Japan will be rescheduled stateside.

The games, both of which were Oakland home dates, will be rescheduled in Oakland on April 3 at 12:35 pm PT and June 30 at 7:05 pm PT. Also, the Athletics spring training schedule will be modified to account for this change of plan.

The Oakland A's will open the season at home against the Seattle Mariners April 1 at 7:05 p.m. PT.
