NOTICE THE SILENCE FROM LIBERALS RE: 'BUT WHAT ABOUT NORTH KOREA!?' (The Next Theater of Ops)

An Observation

Just as predicted, now that essentially the 'fix is in' for an American and Allied LIBERATION OF IRAQ, (the second such liberation of a Near East country by President Bush that is under tryanny), notice how nearly all the assorted liberals, demoncrats, nay-sayers and anti-American appeasement types have dropped their new-found pablumic religion of showing how terrible North Korea is, in favor of a new-found silence.

For months on end, all they talked, whined and snorted about was 'how repressive, dangerous and evil North Korea was/is under Kim Jong il' and that we should do something quickly.

Even an idiot would know they were never, never sincere! Because few of them ever said a G****D thing about "North Korea" over the last few years, prior to the conflict with Iraq. They were silent nearly to a man, a woman and a White House intern during the coddling, appeasing Clinton Administration.

But now? Why, dead silence.

Brain Dead.

Non-Issue.

Flatlined.

Yes, indeed. President George W. Bush will soon be finished with evil country #2 and move on to evil country #3, let's start resurrecting ALL those colorful and emotional comments ranging from Ted Kennedy on downward into the shameless liberal abyss about how evil North Korea is, that the continuation of its terrible regime is unacceptable, and that 'oh my, it is much worse than Iraq!' (sic).

The great thing about Kim Jong Il is that he just can't help himself. He needs the attention of our people, government, and wallets. With the war on Iraq looming, he's been blown off the radar, and he can't stand it. He'll be crashing the party as soon as he can get a word (or an ICBM) in edgewise.

On one hand, he'll get the attention he wants. People will be already on edge with Iraq and Al Qaeda on their minds.

On the other hand, the attention he'll get, he won't like.

Well said. By the way, North Korea has been TOO SILENT for my liking over the last 72 hours. Very eery. They must be up to something serious.

Kind of got used to their daily yapping like a rabid dog.

I urge you, as a conservative, to speak out, eg write a letter to the editor, to voice the catalog of horribles that go on in North Korea. We need to highlight the crimes of Kim Jong Il. We can mention how North Korea kidnapped japanese women, how they blew up airliners, how they propagandize their whole country to rabidly hate the US, how they consuct public execution for political crimes, how they keep 200,000 people in labor camps, how they have killed millions through Stalinist Communist economics and create misery and total lack of hope and freedom.

A good streategic know to choose his battles and knows his enemies can be defeated if they are taken on one by one. It would be good therefore to wait until Saddam is gone and then begin this campaign.

The Liberals were trying to frustrate that by demanding Bush compromise on IRaq and NK. After dealing with Iraq, we can deal seriously with NK and we *should* raise the issue: Why not Regime Change for the worst Regime on planet earth???

Thank you, my friend, for putting up these comments. You are absolutely right that the "North Korea ploy" by the Left was nothing but a hypocritical dodge. But those of us who are neither hypocritical nor leftist, ARE concerned about NK, and DO see that as the next order of business.

If you haven't already, click on the first link below. That's my take on NK as the next item on the geopolitical fix-it list.

I wonder if PETA would support war on North Korea to save the bears imprisoned in bear bile factory farms?

http://www.abcnews.go.com/sections/science/DailyNews/bear_bile000724.html

The whole bear bile thing is awful, and it's throughout Asia. I like to eat animals, but I hate to see them tortured and abused, especially intelligent, majestic mammals like bears!

Yes, it's strange. KCNA has apparently lost their rabid adjective dictionary. They don't even seem to want to go near the subject now.. They are focused on birthday messages to the Minister of Sorgum Cultivation of The Republic of Bassoonistan and announcements of meetings of the Juche Idea Admiration Society of Rangoon.
