Travis very much supports the troops. He has some wonderful songs in dealing with veterans, especially disabled vets.
Way to go, Travis!

"If the Dixie Chicks really wanted to do something to prove just how sorry they are about those statements, they would volunteer to go and perform at some military base," suggested Tritt.
I'm reasonably sure the USO wouldn't let them...

I will be sure to purchase anything of his very soon.
Thank you Travis. It was definitely a cowardly move and I had the same suspicions about the audience myself.

To think that we or our solders can be bought off with some free tickets
I hope that the American public will not bow to such a phony celebrity, just so she won't have to return to the laundry mat.

Question, I was home during my lunch hour when I caught the tail end of a news segment on Fox News (around 12:30) that was talking about the price many celebs have paid for their anti war/American views. Pattie Ann Brown was doing the story, I believe. She was talking about a particular female celeb being semi-retired because of her stance on the war and the President. Did anyone catch this and hear who she was talking about????????? You guys are the best!!!

Robert Earl King usually satisfies my country side, but Tritt is on my must buy list along with Michael Bolton for mainstream stuff. Never thought of getting their music before, but they deserve the support.

Just for that I logged onto Amazon.com and ordered three Travis Tritt CDs. You can buy them
HERE.
Tonight I'm going to download all of the Dixie Chicks songs off of KaZaa and then share them.

"The best way to get an entertainer's attention is to hit them in their pocketbooks," he said. Perhaps this is what he was hoping for, but FReepers could all go out and by a Travis Tritt CD.
Shalom.

Ok, if they will do the USO tour, I'll forgive.
