Typical liberal media highlights gay liberals ONLY here's what the LCR's have said:
LOG CABIN REPUBLICANS OF NEW YORK CITY
CONDEMNS CITY COUNCIL ON ILL-TIMED ANTI-WAR VOTE
(New York, March 12, 2003) -- Today Log Cabin Republicans of New York City (LCR/NYC) condemned the New York City Council's ill-timed vote in favor of an anti-war resolution opposing an attack on Iraq. Yesterday's 31-17 vote, which all Republicans and a sizable number of Democrats opposed, came at a particularly poor time, when over 250,000 American servicemen and women have already been stationed in the Middle East in preparation of war with Saddam Hussein's totalitarian regime in Iraq.
"No one likes or wants war. However, Saddam Hussein has limited our options. Let there be no doubt, Log Cabin Republicans supports the President and our men and women in uniform," stated Stephen Scherock, President of the New York City Chapter of Log Cabin Republicans.
Saddam Hussein first agreed to eliminate his weapons of mass destruction twelve years ago, and he has continually refused to comply with United Nations Security Council resolutions, even in the face of "serious consequences" from the world community. Moreover, Hussein has a record of severely persecuting gays and lesbians, including his declaration of homosexuality as a crime punishable by death two years ago.
Interestingly, this is not the first time the Democratic majority in the City Council has demonstrated its hesitation to confront a gay-hating dictator. On September 12, 2002, Speaker Gifford Miller (D-Manhattan) refused to prevent Councilman Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn) and nearly a dozen others from holding a press conference in the Council chamber with Robert Mugabe, the dictator of Zimbabwe who has declared that gays and lesbians should not have any rights at all.
"While divisive resolutions are nothing new from this City Council, we stand with the vast majority of Americans who find this vote particularly offensive when our nation stands on the verge of war," commented Scherock. "At a time when the City faces its toughest financial crisis in decades, the Council should be considering how to cut costs and improve the efficiency of services, not forcing through divisive foreign policy resolutions."
"I do not believe the City Council should be conducting national security policy," echoed Councilman Michael E. McMahon (D-Staten Island).
Councilwoman Yvette D. Clarke (D-Brooklyn), ironically a supporter of the resolution, pointed out, "If we're going to be looking for a fight, let's fight poverty, let's fight firehouse closures, let's fight racism and sexism."

Is there a reason we should care what a bunch of perverts think of the president's policy regarding war, especially since it is highly unlikely that the pink panty brigade knows the first thing about it?

68 percent of small but vocal minority (~4%)of the American populace.
Last I head it's 2 to 1 in favor of going in and liberating Iraq with or without the UN(anti)American approbation.
LET'S ROLL!

"see gays and lesbians as dirty animals." Maybe Iraq has more sense than we gave them credit for, at least on some issues.

"President Bush suddenly finds himself breathlessly awaiting the opinion of the homosexual community before deciding whether or not to wage war with Iraq." ROTFL! Well, there may be something to it.

What do heteros think? How about Bis? Hey, while we're at it, what to Transexuals think? What a stupid topic to write about.

These are highlights of a nationwide Harris Poll of 2,271 adults, of whom about 6 percent self-identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered.Harris is the most crap polling organization out there. Always wrong, always skewed, always crap.

Gays Skeptical of Bush's Iraq Policy....Im supposed to care about what transgendered people think?? Ive got news for those from THAT camp...If you have medically altered your gender, or are planning to, you have a lot more pressing issues that Bush's Iraq policy.

For that matter, what do left-handed, blue-eyed, blondes between 5'6" and 5'10" born in the midwest on a Sunday between 1958-1962 think? Anyone who defines his very identity by what turns him on sexually is a pretty shallow person, IMO.

I actually have a friend who is a one-armed paper hanger. I kid you not. He has an elbow and a couple of inches past that but the rest is gone. Weird.
