Even when my guys went through the I don't want to eat that stage (now they are 30 and eat everything), they loved corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. We had it at least once a month in the fall, winter and spring. Usually there was never enough for sandwiches the next day.

Powell just said he spoke with Villipain today. Wonder what was said in that conversation? Maybe "You lose, sucka!"

And when Powell mentioned the Russians, it reminded me that it's a shame that Putin is choosing the wrong side here.
The losing side.
Sad to throw in their lot with the French and Germans.

Powell outlining his traveling and contacts to this reporters question as to whether he used his time properly. Wonder why he feels he needs to justify this?

Thanks for the prayers, COBOL. But she's going on spring break. Just wish she was here when all this starts.
I will be praying for you, your daughter, son-in-law and grandson's father. Thank them from many of us here for what they are doing for our country.

I need to get myself a cup of coffee and some of those little candy cigarettes. I feel the need to attend an FR Anonymous meeting. :)

Saddam saying this morning per FOX, paraphrasing here, "Gee, I HAD weapons of mass destruction, but I don't anymore."
Guess nobody wants to believe someone who lies.

Blessent mon coeur d'une langueur monotone.OK, let me try.

Fat Teddy seems like a good choice, but it's St. Paddy day, and he'll be drunk by four in the afternoon. BURP!

Fat Teddy seems like a good choice, but it's St. Paddy day, and he'll be drunk by four in the afternoon. BURP! I don't think Teddy'll regain consciousness until later on this week - of course, that's always a moot point.

Can all the idiot lefty pundits please stop saying that this has been a 'diplomatic disaster' for Bush now? Those words will never ever stop spewing from their mouths. When the war is won and the whole ME is pacified and democratized unimaginably quickly, when oil sells for $9 a bbl, the French and German governments have been reconstituted as staunch American allies, North Korea has invited in the South Koreans to take over, China has renounced any desire for "re"-unification, still American academics and liberals will proclaim a gargantuan Bush diplomatic failure. If Russia then requests that the US come in and take over Russia's nukes they will cry that that the world is at an end.
To: the Deejay
It will probably be lost on the likes of the Kennedy clan, but I kind of like the symbolism of beginning the war on St. Patrick's day. After all, St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland.
