WHERE: USA Stadium in Millington 4351 Babe Howard Blvd off Hwy 51 North. (Approx. 20 miles North of Memphis, TN).

WHEN: Saturday, March 22nd at NOON

DETAILS: NewsRadio 600 WREC Hosts Mike Fleming and Craig Robbins will emcee.

Retired Colonel Tony Lopez will offer keynote speech.

Speeches from veterans of: World War Two The Korean War The Vietnam War and the previous Gulf War.

NewsRadio 600 WREC’s Mike Fleming is on a mission … To get his hands on every inch of Yellow Ribbon in the area. He plans to hand it out to people that attend this, and other events in the Mid-South. Put it on your car antenna, your mailbox, wherever you want.

If you would like to help in Mike’s mission … go out and purchase some yellow ribbon … cut off a few pieces for yourself … and bring the rest to the WREC & KWAM studios on Beale Street downtown. Mike will help distribute it from there.

Good idea - Friend husband's expertise, but I'll get him on it, LOL!

What we would like to do is have the children to write letters, make cards or draw pictures and bring them to the rally. Or have an adult do it if they are not being brought by their parents.

We will have decorated boxes for them to place their items in. We will then see that their out pouring of love will get to several different units or ships.

The 101st Airborne out of Ft Campbell and the USS Tennessee at the very least will be getting their letter/card/pictures.

Please spread the word into those in the community you have contact with.
