Thanks for the bump.

First and foremost I pray for the brave men and women of our military that are about to carry out the orders of the President. The members of the military are putting their lives on the line to liberate the Iraqi people and disarm Saddam to protect all of us. They are first in my prayers -- they are in harm's way.

I pray for my daughter and her husband in the Navy and the rest of my family.

I pray for the United States of America and all its citizens to support our men and women in the military and lift up their prayers for their safety in the days ahead. I also would like to give my prayers to the families and friends of those military in the Middle East about to go into battle.

President Bush has made up his mind and has listened to prayers that he take action to liberate Iraq. He is at peace with the decision the way he talked today. Pres Bush and his Administration are included in my prayers tonight and in the days ahead but I bet you will find that the people he is praying for are our men and women that are going to carry out his orders.

Father, we thank you that you have taken this speck of land that we call these United States, with its heritage founded upon You and Your Word ... now we rejoice that we are called upon to come before Your Throne of Grace on behalf of many peoples in many lands, for surely You have shown us the extent of evil. Raise up many this night for intercessory prayer ... for our beloved President and his family and those in his administration; for those leaders and their countrymen who are willing to stand for righteousness; for every one in our military who willingly serve so that evil shall not prevail. We seek supernatural protection, for the enemy is strong and the plans are monstrous, but greater are You ...

Confuse and confound those who would do us harm ... may those who would tear us apart fall silent ... may there be absolute fear in the hearts of the enemy, and may You reveal Yourself in a mighty way.

Thank You, Lord, for Your assurance that greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world. We lift up praise for the victory that is Yours, and Yours alone, as we go forth in the name of Jesus, Amen ...
