I think that this is an illuminating article and shows that politics, not a true belief in peace, is behind the Hollywood types nonsensical attitude toward our impending military action in Iraq. As it has been said before "there are none so blind as those who will not see". It should also serve to point out the horrendous state of our public school system. The thought that any of these people were allowed to matriculate is mind boggling.

Mike Farrell completed high school? Do you have a source for this claim?:)
Last night I was in Muskegon, Michigan for an ice hockey tournament. On my way to the rink I noted two very large and very expensive homes situated very close to the street; both of these homes had "Wage Peace" signs stuck into their front lawns. We won our game so my boy had a game this morning at 8 a.m., and we were required to be at the rink an hour before game time, so as I passed by the homes again on this beautiful and quiet Sunday morning I laid on the horn in my truck when I went by. I was interested in seeing whether these two homes wanted to wage peace at 6:30 a.m.......

It's amazing these entertainers (tired hacks) are leftist at all having failed the university socialist indoctrination system.

Thank you for this thoughtful comment.
The entertainers you named are celebrities solely because of their artistic talent.
They have not been elected to represent anyone. They have not been asked to speak for anyone. Each one of them speaks his own opinion just one persons opinion. No more, no less.
They are financially able to travel to places (within and without the U.S.) to perform before their fans and groupies. They can pick and choose their audiences; the media follows them around. They can duck out when they are challenged; they can lay it on thick when encouraged.
It goes without saying, that since they dont represent anyone theyre not accountable to anyone.
This is what makes me angry.
They have no authority, they have no responsibility, they have no accountability. In fact they can be (and usually are) irresponsible in most areas of their own lives. Yet they criticize our representatives, who MUST be responsible or else answer to their constituents.
Perhaps these celebrities have confused real life with the world of Thats Entertainment! You think?

"President George W. Bush: Received a Bachelors Degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School."
Great article.
I went to a Christmas party last year that was monopolized by a Dem spouting off. One of her claims was that "Shrub got into Harvard only because he got a scholarship from his mother's foundation."
I assume she was saying he bought his way in, and would not have been qualified to get in otherwise.
So, no matter what credentials are brought up, the Dems just shrug them off as fake. *Sigh*

Well, I thought I'd seen everything FR had to offer, but I have to admit I never thought I'd see the day that a BA from Yale and a B-School MBA would be held up as a positive example here.

Of couse Michael Moore had the support of "The Nation", the commie rag supports everything he does, and we all know that with a name like that they have majority support.
