No, y'all haven't been paying attention. The GOP is not colorblind anymore.
We have lost that battle. For instance, this month's National Republican Woman magazine proudly announces the formation of a new organization to be known as the Republican Black Women. In another example, the RNC tried to shove a "Special Outreach to Minority Voters Resolution" (with unlimited costs) down the throats of the NCGOP at their State Convention last year. (Fortunately, one well-spoken delegate pointed out that we are supposed to be the colorblind party, the question was called and the resolution was resoundly defeated.)
We were never been colorblind, at the leadership level, we were just 20 years behind the times.

The author hit the bull's eye on this one!
...The Dims wouldn't even entrust the chairmanship to one of the Party faithful, Maynard Jackson, nor did they fully support the New York guberntorial candidate, Carl McCall.
...The knives keep getting longer and longer on the other side of the isle.

.......
I can't help but notice
have Democrats become the party of the Angry White Men?The Dems are about power and the advancement of socialism. Capturing the high ground required a lot of posturing about the poor, the downtrodden, racism, but posturing for power was all it was. The media enabled them to have success without substance, but that is changing now.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall as the Clintons laugh hysterically at the Jewish voters. If you really were a fly, though, you would be drawn irresistably to their heads.

Hey, there are some things a self respecting fly or other vermin will not do.
Physical contact with either Clinton is revulsive beyond all comprehension.

That's the thing about Democrats. They all seem to use the word "fight" at least a dozen times a speech. Fight for this, fight for that, fight, fight, fight. But the "fight" never seems to be against people who, say, want to kill us--it's always against other, unspecified Americans.
By the way, the only white people I have heard use the "n" word in the last ten years were all Democrats.
To: JeanS
I take offense that anyone suggests the democrat party gives a chit about white people, any white people....
The democrats party iks the party of minorities too dumb to realise they are being used

Wait a min! You mean that just recognizing minority voter blocks is so bad as to be akin to the demorats racial pandering?
To clarify: I believe Affirmative Action is racism.
I do not believe courting a voter block by race equats to racism.
In time, it has the possibility to go there, but the intention is sound. We have been so wound up by the race baiters we dare not touch anything pretaining to race because of histerical presstitutes spinning out of control. Race is an issue we need to come to terms with, not pander to, and not deny exist either.

The Democratic Crime Syndicate is the political arm of all enemies domestic. Its base is made up of anti-freedom, socialist/collectivist hot button groups to grab all of the "useful idiots"...something for nothing non-thinkers. The party hierarchy are "happy days are here again" exploiters of the informationally and rationally challenged. Its weapons of mass distraction are the mainstream press and Hollywood/entertainment.

Excellent article. I would just add like many of the other posters, It's the face of socialism.
Maggie, what does the Sister think about the wife beater, jew hating Congressman Jim Moran?
To: JoeSixPack1
It's a slippery slope, Joe. The best way to attract voters to the party, is by making sure that we irradicate racism from within so that black conservative or jewish conservative or whatever conservative candidates are given an environment in which they can flourish and that people must not be put in a situation where they feel unwelcome.
I will concede that the "good-ole-boy" thing has got to be dismantled for the sake of our entire country, any party. People need to realize that, above all, prejudice by its very nature limits the pool from which qualified candidates can be culled.

Contrast this to the blatant tokenism of the Clinton cabinet which boasted such luminaries as Janet Reno, Hazel O'Leary and Jocelyn Elders. Let's not forget Federico "ValueJet is safe!" Pena.
