I heard Tony Blair at one point telling other members of UN- Look we all know exactly what Saddam has... I took that to mean that they all know because they( UN members) sold it/them to him. It seems like Blix and Baradae were just there to shuffle papers back and forth. If Tierney is right- then the inpsectors were there to make sure reports did not include violations. Why? Is there a grand scheme by the UN to destroy America..... Where's my tin foil.... It'll turn up...

The other side of the coin is that there will be more feeds than you can shake a stick at when the fur starts to fly; most of them will be temporary feeds though. I'll try as well as I can to keep up with 'em. If I'm right, though, when things start, I'll be on the freeway.

Blix just admitted that the it is impossible for the inspections process to achieve its objective.

Yes. Given the correct intterpretation of UN1441, Blix could accomplish the job if Saddam were to cooperate. But since Saddam refuses to cooperate, the job is impossible, as Blix admits. Blix will be out of a job in 24 hours. Maybe he can get job in Hollywood. Aren't they making another "Pink Panther" episode?

Has anyone considered that we disarm France after we deal with Iraq? We need to realize that France is not a friend, but an enemy of the USA.

I didn't miss it; in fact I listened to the whole thing very carefully. Bush said Saddam departing was one solution, not the only solution. Of course, Bush if he had it all his way, would have demanded it, but alas Bush can't have it all, at least not until tomorrow night.

As for Blix, he is an uninspiring disingenuous, bordering on pervaricating, French poddle that hisses like a snake rather than barks. I hope that helps.

Tierney said he told the inspectors where to find where Saddam was manufacuring nukes. He said the inspectors had more than enough time to go to the site..... He said the inspectors purposly don't want to find them.....

If not in this case, certainly in other cases this is true. Blix's mission was to not find anything supstantial, and to draw the inspection sham out indefinitely. In this regard he and Chiraq have gambled and lost.
