If Bush had wanted to launch an invasion of Iraq this spring, he wouldn't have run out the clock in the UN. And, reality check for you, Saddam Hussein has WMD -- ergo, we aren't going to get into a shooting match with him any time soon. To think otherwise is to indulge in the most absurd, wish-fulfillment fantasy. I hope you show up to be called on this when proven wrong.

saying he didn't use that expression and wouldn't use that expression

Blix thinks Spain and Britain have different views than the United States. Can it be any clearer that Blix's objective is to isolate the United States and subject us to international ridicule.

Blix says he did not use the expression "divided".
Female reporter tells Blix President Bush seemed pretty clear he expected the UN to make a decision tomorrow. She asks if he got that message from the conference. Blix says he's listening to HER interpretation.

"Blix expects war declaration to come through the UN "regular channels" and not through the media."
Blix is living in a parallel universe!!
To: Dolphy
so yes they are divided according to blix but he is not using the 'divided' word...so when the press makes a headline and comes up with the word divided it could be construed as accurate in my opinion
To: RummyChick
Blix didn't use the word "divided" but he did say they talked about different things.........that's divided in my book. 'Guess his has plausible deniability.
