I have the same thoughts, but then Woodruff is saying that we have insulted France and Germany. I simply am incapable of seeing the world as these people do.

Have you filled up your vehicles yet? My wife is filling hers in about a half-hour as she heads out of town (she's got another conference - she just got in last night from the last one...[sigh])
I'm filling mine in the morning.

Baghdad high temps in the low 60's Wednesday-Saturday. Not exactly scorching... Give it a few days. Main point is, the stories have started appearing, so it's an easy sell. Anyone who imagines that the collapse of the UN as a guarantor of global security will be followed by the instantaneous formation of the promised replacement -- the coalition to disarm Saddam Hussein -- is living in a dream world. Timing is everything. If Bush had wanted to launch an invasion of Iraq this spring, he wouldn't have run out the clock in the UN. And, reality check for you, Saddam Hussein has WMD -- ergo, we aren't going to get into a shooting match with him any time soon. To think otherwise is to indulge in the most absurd, wish-fulfillment fantasy. That is why there is no ultimatum to Saddam Hussein, only to France.

I agree with you. Bush and Blair are in conflict on regime change. It's obvious to me.
Of course Blair is wrong because if you leave him and his family in Iraq, we're right back where we are in time for my three year old grandkids to hgead over there.
Bush has his eye on the ball and the head of the snake. Thwack.........

Good idea - even though I think prices should be stable for a little while even if there is a war. Just worry if this thing drags out.

Good swimming weather for vacationers.

A flustered Judy Woodruff--somehow both weepy and brassy--suggested that the twelve flags behind the leaders (the four flags repeated three times) had some great significance as a dishonest attempt to exaggerate the level of support the war might have in Europe. Ms. Woodruff is projecting since she daily makes dishonests attempts.....at being a reporter.

CNN is acting like a spoiled brat. Their just ticked that Foxnews is smoking their ratings. So now they have decided to get with the I hate America crowd. Boy has CNN fallen from what they once were 12 years ago.
To: LisaFab
I just had a thought. What if Saddam is inviting Blix to Iraq in order to hold him as a hostage? Saddam said he wanted to see Blix as soon as possible.
