Try jumping in front of any bulldozer --it's not a very bright thing to do ---sort of like running out in front of a semi to make it stop. Even apart from this Middle Eastern issue what she did was just stupid ---you can't save all stupid people.

Your generalization is a bit too broad. A few people said some nasty things celebrating this girl's death, but many others expressed opposing views, indicating they thought that the unnecessary and rather pointless death of this young woman was a shame.

I certainly do not support the eradication of Israel, but I don't think killing every Palestinian is such a hot idea either. I guess I just never bought that whole "Promised Land" bit.

Please point out in any of my posts where I defended her. My point, and I'll attempt to see if it penetrates again, is that there is something distasteful with any post rejoicing her death. And seeing such posts here don't elevate this site in my opinion. I just told another relative that they need to start coming here. I have done the same thing with a lot of other people. I'd prefer that they did not visit and think that people here rejoice in the death people like this dumb kid.

You ask me "what if" this and "what if" that and then again bring up this "defending her" nonsense. Why do you ask me those questions? They are absurd. Which is absurd as saying, as you did, "Life is nothing but a bunch of decisions and actions that have rewards and consequences". With all due respect, life is much more than that.

Hardly. This idiot got herself run over by a bulldozer protecting a terrorist's house. No one advocated killing the idiot; no one labeled the idiot a commie before this little incident. She got herself killed, and she did it whilst protecting the house of a Jihadist fanatic. For this we feel little sorrow.

Some mother and father are grieving because of the loss of their daughter and I feel for them.

I wonder who gave her the money to travel over there, it's not likely she was a hard working college student working two jobs to put herself through college. If the parents gave her money to go vacation in Palestine, then they are as stupid as she was. Plus they should have told her jumping in front of moving bulldozers is never very safe.

I will submit that nobody is actually laughing or taking joy is the death of this girl. There is a bit of gallows humor in laughing at the stupidity of the enemy, but that is quite apart from actually laughing at the horrible death itself.

It is a laughably stupid position that she put herself in. It is precisely the tragic nature of this pointless death that makes this story a story. If you can't see the difference then I suggest you find another thread until this blows over.

My statement was neither. Read the posts on this thread or many other threads now appearing on FR. Hate is being openly expressed for anyone who dares disagree with the mobs views and agenda. I do not see this as a positive development for either conservatism or FR.
