The latest apology:

"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American."

I wonder if they are saying that to their audiences in Europe now. I doubt it, because it is insincere. Have they sent a letter to President Bush apologising? Not likely.

Doubt they will unless it starts to hurt ticket sales. They're most likely liberals... they rarely apologize for things they say, it's only conservatives who have to do that.

This story has been running for days with identical posts on here. It's getting old. At least they apologized for the stupidity..whether self-serving or not, I am moving on to other things. Can't beat a dead horse.

I guess they're feeling the heat. They are definitely going to see the ramifications of Natalie's wayward comment in their concert attendance this year. I hope the sales of their current CD fall off big time. They must remember who made them the queens of country music. An egregious error like that deserves permanent dethroning. CHIX SUX!

Sadly, with this comment, she is betraying Cheryl Crow-like ignorance and naivte. We've had 12 years of "every possible alternatives." As a mother, she ought to be concerned that her kids may live in a world where they are under continuous threat from Islamic terrorist groups with weapons of mass destruction.
