Screennames and college basketball: hmmm, I do consider the strong possibility that my boyfriend is about to go under the name "FearTheTurtle" here to signal his allegiance to the Maryland Terps. (They did nothing to earn that allegiance yesterday.)

Moving to North Carolina in February 1974, soon came the March Madness, and I was forever hooked on ACC teams!
Unforgettable were those games and players - David Thompson, the back of his head split open, making a winning basket - Michael Jordan as a UNC player! - Coach Jim Valvano (God rest his soul) and NC State, the Cinderella Story, taking the National Title out of nowhere!
