The Terps are usually formidable foes.
Moving to North Carolina in February 1974, soon came the March Madness, and I was forever hooked on ACC teams!

Unforgettable were those games and players - David Thompson, the back of his head split open, making a winning basket - Michael Jordan as a UNC player! - Coach Jim Valvano (God rest his soul) and NC State, the Cinderella Story, taking the National Title out of nowhere!

Following them all, on the Road....

last year Bill and I followed the Terps to all sweet 16 games and the elite 8. I couldn't STAND to watch them play the Huskies -- it was so close the whole game. We had, thanks to my excellent lawyering skills, bartered our way into courtside tickets and I spent most of the game with my hands covering my face, LOL!! Bill and I didnt' even try to get Final Four tickets because we agreed it was just so stressful! The Terps won, but so many games were so close. Well, that's what makes the ACC fun.
