.45MAN and I attended the Rally for America in Atlanta yesterday. Cold, damp weather did not dampen the spirits of 25,000 patriots that showed up waving banners and placards to show support and offer prayers for our troops.

Warning: This is a very graphics-intensive thread. My pics are down around post 239 or so.

GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYBODY!
This is the day the Lord has made!
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Dear friends, It looks like we'll be haveing a go at Iraq before the end of this week if I heard right in that news confrence from the Azores today. So everyone fasten your seatbelts! It's gonna be a BUMPY ride!
I don't mind telling you I'm a little scared, but, I know in the end all will be okay. We have a strong military and a great leader in President Bush. I trust him.
I trust in God and I trust that HE will see us through any difficulties that arise.
I trust that God is with President Bush and with the leaders of Great Britian, Spain,Portugal, as well as the other nations who are backing us.
I am praying really hard that this will be a short conflict and that peace will be quick in coming.
I pray for a happy solution to all this and I pray for the Iraqi people as well as for our leaders and for the leaders of our allied nations.
I pray for peace. But I support President Bush and our military. God grant them victory and a speedy return to thier homes and families.
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Bu-bye Saddam. Better say your prayers . . .
There was a downpour when I got up, but the skies cleared and it turned out pretty nice.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it. "LORD, You said that once I decided to follow you, You would walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times of my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed You most You would leave me."
The LORD replied, "My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
