Do you really believe what you wrote, now that you've had time to re-read it and think about what you wrote? Are you really that much of a materialist? Chomsky is not a moron. To call him a moron is silly and completely devalues your point.

Also, your failure to land an academic post is not because of your opinions about Chomsky. There are few jobs in academics for linguists and there are numerous applicants. If anyone is aware of your "over-the-top" opinions about an obviously intelligent person might want to think twice about hiring you.

I dislike Chomsky for his political views. But there are numerous intelligent academics who are deluded about the realities of economics and politics. Leave it at that.
