Mr. Mellencamp doesn't have high hopes for "To Washington," his rewrite of an old country-folk tune. The song - which will be on his next CD and can be heard at www.mellencamp.com - features new lyrics about Mr. Bush and ends by asking "What is the thought process to take a human's life? What would be the reason to think that this is right?" I've often wondered myself what the thought processes were to take a human's life. . .but MY thoughts were about abortion and the infantcide going on everyday by people who justifying killing as a "choice".

"the thought process for taking a human life"
And my thoughts also extend to the 19 hijackers who attacked our country and killed our innocent people as they went about their daily business.

What the Liberal Loser Peacenik Goober Mellencamp obviously misses about President Bush's Liberally-labeled "Rush to War" is that so MANY lives will be SAVED by ousting the Murdering Tyrant Saddam Hussein who is known to be responsible for the executions of hundreds of thousand of human lives. Many of those are his OWN Iraqi people too ! He gassed the Kurds and has used chemical weapons on his enemies.
As far as the children are concerned, the food for oil program is a farce. MUCH of it goes to his military, NOT the children. It's a waste of effort because the children don't benefit for the most part . . .
