Add the Dixie Chicks to the Boycott list (My Title)

"The best that patriotic country-music fans could do is to stay away from that American tour the Dixie Chick(en)s will be starting in May. Hit them where it counts: in the pocketbook."

The backlash toward the Chickie Dicks has been impressive, let's hope by May people will still be as upset by their offensive remarks.

To the Dixiechicks

As you particularly inept apology pointed out, Americans do have the right to freedom of speech. The only reason anyone is interested in your opinion is that you are popular. If I, as an American without your access to the media, disagree with your opinion, it is my right, Nay, my duty to ensure that you no longer remain "popular." To that end, the only voice I have is economic. I will strike no only at you, but the corporation which enables your popularity. Not only will I boycott your music and those who play it, I will strike at Sony. Any movie that I want to see that they release will have to wait until it appears on video before I see it at my prepaid rate of only $2.00. Sony collects anly an insignificant royalty on that as opposed to their cut of a movie ticket. To other Sony performers, I will wait for their CDs to hit the 2nd hand trade where Sony receives nothing. In the unlikely event that this is passed on to you, this will let you know that you are a hummingator. A aligator mouth biting off more than your hummingbird physique can handle. The same is that you call yourself American.
