Yes. And the B2 Bombers should have arrived by now and ready for action. They left yesterday.

sorry for my fit of anger.....
I'm just so frustrated that my president is looking more and more like Bill Clinton.

No kidding they are loud. They fly overhead when they come out of depot maintenance for test flights. After awhile you can tell what plane is flying by the sound.

You can't stand upright in a B-1 cockpit. I'm 5'9" and still had to bend my legs at impossible angles to fit in the seats.

No worries mate.
Just get the hell out of the way!!!!
To: PhiKapMom
Have you had a B2 flyover yet? I've heard louder riding mowers than those damn things at 1000ft. Spooky as all hell.

From my own personal experience, I would have to say that these planes are very very tiny.
This is because the only time I ever saw one was when it passed overhead at about 30,000 feet.
And it only looked THIS BIG to me!

This is the CUTEST thing! I hope it is the last thing Saddam ever sees. American's having fun at his expense.

*LOL* I'm originally from Louisville, KY and the big opening for the Derby Festival is Thunder over Louisville. It's an air show followed by one monstrous fireworks display that even involves one of the main bridges that links downtown Louisville and Jeffersonville, IN. Couple that with the fact I live in the military capital of the US (Hampton Roads VA) and there's probably very few military aircraft I haven't seen either over my head or driven past.

Practice makes perfect.
Damn straight. God bless our boys.
Hey, Taxman, yeah, the water's too hot in that other thread for me to plunge in, but let me say here that I agree that C. Webb doesn't seem ultra-liberal as WashPost reporters go. I think she may be trustworthy.
