"The U.S. should be strengthening the UN and other "mechanisms of cooperation,"
We're trying to, but the damned fools insist on making the UN a powerless joke.

All Slick Willie needs to do is to grow a little patch of hair in the middle of his lip....and he can look more like his political clone
He seems to have all his other ideas already

There's only a certain amount of political "air" that's available to impress and reach the vast majority of Americans, and when Clinton occupies much of that with "himself"..it only hurts the Dems....BTW, think about this cheery picture...next summer, in Boston..Clinton and Jimmy Carter at the DNC, and Al Sharpton getting a prime time hour for a speech...

Clintoon: "We should be PARDONING terrorists, not BOMBING them!"
To: Frank_Discussion
Someone should ask Clinton who he thinks SHOULD be the biggest power on the block.

No argument...but the Dems this campaign cycle are in a classic self-destruct mode....the same behavior that led to McGovern's nomination..whatever we can do to "encourage" this pattern of behavior...

After we bomb Iraq he'll be saying that he knew it had to be done. With or without the UN. Just to keep himself looking like he's "with" us and to keep himself on the news.

That's an OUTSTANDING idea! Who could we lobby to do it? What reporter would, and which one would have the most exposure. It would probably send Slick into a full-tilt, blue-dress fit!

Agree, however, and in addition, every Dem who goes in front of a camera should be linked to this line of thought until they prove otherwise.

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear he's the Antichrist.

I will say this of this piece of garbage who unfortunately infested our White House for eight years. As Mark Twain once wrote of a man who sold him a bad horse, "If Bill Clinton's funeral takes place while I am in D.C., I will postpone all other recreation and attend it." Note to the Secret Service, I intend no harm to Billyjeff Clinton. I hope he dies of natural causes. But I hope that happens soon. Tertiary syphillis would be a poetically appropriate cause.

Latest book(let), "to Restore Trust in America."

"We need to be creating a world that we would like to live in when we're not the biggest power on the block." Bill, the world you dream creating of already exists in Canada & France. Pick one & move there. I prefer to live in the lone superpower.

I frankly don't give a tinkers DAMN what Bill had to say about anything and don't know why anyone else should!
The thing he fears most in this world is irrelevance and I think that is exactly what we ought to make him a present of!

The U.S. should be strengthening the UN and other "mechanisms of cooperation," Clinton said. "We need to be creating a world that we would like to live in when we're not the biggest power on the block."Given the record of just about every other nation on the planet when they thought they were the most powerful or one of the most powerful nations on earth I doubt that any sane person really would wish to live in such a world
