I think it's in his blood.

Maybe in the air he breathes.

Or maybe his anal probe was mistakenly left in place.

Whatever it is, he seems slavishly addicted to such tones in responses.

I don't know of a cure or effective solution. I deplore abuse buttons except in super destructive, egregious, aggressive cases.

I suppose one could just ignore his prickliness and try and comment on what substance might be left. But it's not quite as much fun. Besides, such arrogant orneriness NEEDS slapped down at least occasionally. IMHO.

With you, a little is a lot.

And when you "really wind up"

it's galactically over the top.

It wouldn't kill you to own your tendencies, tones and trashing words/phrases.

Hmmm. Interesting point.

I assume you put 0.00% credence in allegations that some of the stealth craft are dual propulsion systems--one option being anti-grav of some sort.

???

I think this is NASA's site on the topic. Lots of links, lots of info: Warp Drive When?.

Thanks.

Interesting link. Had stumbled across something similar before. Seems like they've made progress.

Ha! Stupid humans! You're piddling attempts at hyper light speed travel amuse us.
You are destined to be ruled and enslaved by our superior technology!

I C.

I have a notion that a lot of these articles are a kind of deliberate cracking the door open . . .

--perhaps to prepare the rest of the scientific community for POSSIBILITIES so that the REALITIES already afoot won't be such a shock . . .

--perhaps to prepare the populace in general for similar reasons.

etc.

I realize you probably still think I and the whole field are 150 galactic clusters the other side of sanity.

But I still have to be responsible to reality as I've experienced it with my friends, relatives and vast quantity of at least scanned information. All of THAT says--things have progressed far further than you seem to allow--and had done so even 35 years ago. I certainly don't have the capacity to convince you or anyone of such at present.

But the more I read, month by month, the closer that day seems to get.

I've long felt that the UFO type stuff would be held in reserve until we were much closer to the global government. The Iraq thing seems all cocked to push us much closer to that time. Then there's the Von Braun allegations about the scheduled war on terrorism, Iraq and finally ET's.

The pieces do indeed fit increasingly together. And it almost doesn't matter the TYPES of sources. The data curve or whatever one might call it--the curve is getting more and more steep toward certainty; toward a proven end-point; toward deployment--whatever one wants to call it.

IMHO, of course.

Appreciated your kind reply.

I dunno, can you see Cherenkov radiation, or any other traces of the use of undiscovered (by us) means of propulsion, with your eyeballs? Seems to me that I was taught there are some pretty narrow limits to human vision in biology.

I've been following the "lifter" technology for a while. Here is a lifter clip.

And here is another neat video clip.

Any usable warp drive implies the ability for time travel. Insert time travel into the universe and all hell breaks loose, literally. Perhaps among the infinite quantum multiverses we are one where neither warp drive nor time travel ever occurs, or both are impossible.

" If the photos of the Roswell crash fragments are not bogus, then the panels with hand prints provide a major clue that the craft is controlled by consciousness. The late Brendan O Regan, who worked with Astronaut Edgar Mitchell and the Noetics Institute told me in 1973 that he had classified information that such was the case."

That statement sure got my attention. First time I've ever seen anything about "panels with hand prints" at the Roswell site.

Thanks for the info, guys. It feels good to stretch your brain on stuff like this once in a while.

Regarding the various theories seen, it seems to me that anything that uses "fuel" is not viable for long term space travel and that my magnetic idea, the Anti-Grav stuff, and the theory about pushing against what is already there in space are ways to harness "forces" and not a reaction. (except the Amer. of course, which might make fuel viable for near-space travel.)

I'm convinced the answer will not a fuel system, but will be a way of unlocking forces which we already know about, gravity, magnetism, chem reaction etc.

You assume correctly.

I think I have a sense of humor.

But I also have a LOT of respect for FREEPERS who live in trailers in or out of parks; double-wide's or rundown Airstreams from decades ago . . .

WHO ARE HONORABLE, HARD WORKING PEOPLE WHO SHARE OUR CONSERVATIVE VALUES

and don't deserved to be derided as lazy ner-do-wells barely worth the contempt of the wealthy or better off among us.

I know one PhD university teacher of the year who lives in a trailer just so he can give the money he'd have spent on a better house to missions, orphans and other poor people in 3rd world countries.

Now if you want to deride DILLDO and her unroyal lowness; her hideous heinous Bwitch Shrillary, THEN, I'm vigorously with you.

But imagine YOU are living in a trailer for various reasons . . . . maybe your spouse ran off with your kids and took you to the cleaners . . . maybe a liberal boss learned you were conservative and found excuses to demote you and then fired you after 12 years of hard quality work . . . maybe you had a great new product and corrupt venture capitalists or worse even 'Christian' 'friends' and 'brothers' took you to the cleaners and hardly left you with your shorts . . .

And you come home from a trying day at McDonalds pushing hardened arteries and sit down at FR for some encouragment, good dialogue and fun and the first thing you read is some 'joker' deriding you for living in a trailer. It won't exactly make your day. And it's unnecessary.

Sure you can say . . . if everyone were as brilliant as you and/or as wealthy as you and/or born into such an advantaged family as you--they wouldn't have to live in a trailer. But for me, that attitude doesn't wash well at all.

Humor's great and I have a larger capacity to laugh at myself than most people I've met. And sometimes I have to watch myself around folks who's food addictions are a lot larger than wise.

There are a lot of other things to joke about. The Democr*ps for a few hundred.

Ok, we can agree on that. My best friend lived in a trailer when we were growing up, on a remote acreage out in the "boondocks" of Oklahoma. I lived in a rural small town where there were several trailers on our block. (until the zoning codes kicked in a few years later) And believe it or not, my friend and I both saw UFO's when we were kids. Even as a far more knowledgeable adult, when I look back and analyze what I saw, I have no idea what it was. So actually I'm somewhat poking fun at myself and of course the same old stereotypes that are prevalent in UFO lore. When you see these strange things you can get p*ssed at the world for not taking you seriously or just kind of laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. If some of this "super technology" becomes reality, believe me, I will have a big grin on my face and will be the first in line to buy tickets on the first starliner.

"I dunno, can you see Cherenkov radiation, or any other traces of the use of undiscovered (by us) means of propulsion, with your eyeballs? Seems to me that I was taught there are some pretty narrow limits to human vision in biology."

Swimming pool reactors glow visibly blue by Cherenkov radiation.

And if any of these schemes were feasible, they would (he repeated) have been perfected by intelligent ETs thousands or millions of years ago. At 5% of light speed, there has been ample time to visit every single star in the galaxy, using self-replicating 'von Neumann' robot probes. If intelligent species are common (and we are the latest on the block as Carl Sagan pointed out) there should be a traffic jam of probes all over the galaxy. In particular we should have been visited multiple times and there is no reason such visits should not be continuing. Yet we see no evidence (such as aliens landing on the White House lawn) of such visits.

Hence, he repeated, either we are alone or none of these schemes is feasible.
