True but the rank and file of their own party are getting fed up. We keep hearing from the squirrels that you mentioned but there are still a lot of rabbits in the party and they are getting fed up. I believe one of the reasons for their fastly fading glory (in their eyes) is that they have used the in your face too much. It's sort of like viruses becoming resistant to antibiotics. I have been a Republican all my life, my father was a dem til mid 60's. I have been a Republican missionary for many years. I have saved a lot of democratic souls by helping them find the light. I'll save more before I'm through. Don't forget my favorite modern theme, "War freed the slaves and War freed the Jews". I've seen many variations and like ehm all.

I understand your point, I just disagree with it. I still think that the way to fight them is the by making a lot of noise right now. The rank and file are not jumping ship quickly enough.

Is there any reason to be a democrat now after what this country had gone through in the last 10 years? I say no. I think boycotting will get our wheels rolling in the right directon. At the point boycotting becomes over kill ,I agree with you the conservatives should stop the practice. You and I disagree when overkill is though..... in this casethe antibiotics has not beomce resistant because Dixie Chicks and others like them are finding out the hard way to keep their political ideals to themselves and friends.. or become political activists themselves and pay the pipper when the bill comes due.
