I don't think my dad had ever been here before he came out for my wedding. For some extremely stupid reason we got married in PHX in JUNE! My dad had always told me it couldn't be that bad here (when I'd say how hot it was), cuz it's a "dry heat". After our wedding reception, he said, "D**n, it's hot...it's like sticking your head in an oven". LOL, I've always remembered that.
