We saw close to that temperature here in PHX back in '90 or '91. Hit 122 in July, I think. I took an egg outside, cracked it on the sidewalk to see if it would fry. Nope, just made a mess on my sidewalk.:)
I can't imagine being outside in that temp. all the time, as you must have been.
