A woman unknowingly snapped a picture of the three here in Lakeside California. She just thought it looked so odd to see this here. She called the Rick Roberts Radio show and they contacted Utah police. Also, it seems that Emmanual spent some time in our El Cajon jail for vandizing a church. Here's the picture:

I can't get my 13 year-old son to do the dishes, tuck in his shirtail, or comb his hair right. This wierdo clown gets a 14 year-old girl to tramp around all over the country for 8 months and wear a ridiculous veil.

Hiring on vagrants is a stupid idea for anyone. You are actually liable for taxes, social security, and workman's compensation...if they are injured at your house, they can sue you, the state can sue you.

I guess I do travel in different circles...Thank God.

No, I would not bring some stranger into my home to save a few dollars. Particularly some panhandler from the street.

So, let me get this straight. You would bring into your house and family some guy standing on a street corner holding a sign up saying "Will work for food" and instead of just giving him 10 dollars (Which, I will admit, I probably would not do unless I talked to the guy for a few minutes to find out how legit he was...in my experience, not many are)let him roam around your home because he is less fortunate than you.

You know, life is not a lottery. You sound like Tom Daschle. I worked to get what I have. It was not given to me. Nor would I risk it because of some misguided sense of guilt.

Have you ever been in the Utah mountains? Elizabeth was abducted at night, she was taken to that spot at night, and was disoriented. She said that she thought they were out in the desert somewhere. The area where they camped was in a little ravine in the midst of trees. I've done a good deal of camping and hiking in the Utah mountains, it is easy to get lost and disoriented if you don't know what you're doing. Plus, either Mitchell or Wanda were always with Elizabeth.

I read that today. And the wierd thing is that Lakeside is rather a redneck area (for some reason, I like that) with a whole lot of trailer courts. The whole "be nice to Moose Limbs" routine worked in this crazy fool's favor.

I would've been extremely suspicious, because those three looked like they were trying to PASS as Moose Limbs as opposed to actually BEING Moose Limbs.

That was my point---that the generic Bedouin type garb would make it even more unlikely that police would stop them for anything, including jaywalking. I'm sure if it had crossed any cop's mind, they could have been approached very politely and asked "Is this young lady Elizabeth Smart? Let's see her face."
