Ed Smart says the family is not pressuring her to talk about what happened to her over the last 9 months. He feels it will all come out when she is ready. Part of the problem here is that Ed probably took this same position with respect to getting the younger daughter to talk more promptly about what she saw the night of the "abduction."

Smart acknowledges this, but he says--and I agree--that they probably got the information from her earlier than they would have had they badgered her incessantly.
