Within seconds of learning that the overarching conspiracy [FBI agents Jim Kallstrom and Jim Kinsley, NTSB Chairman Jim Hall, NTSB head of investigation Bernie Loeb, and NTSB head of the Fire & Explosion Team Merritt Birky] were engaged in to alter the outcome of the TWA 800 federal 'investigation' was compromised by [James Sanders], CAPRONI and CAMPBELL knew beyond any doubt that [Sanders] was a journalist protected by PPA and Justice Department CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 50.10.

I have an old, vague recollection that Kallstrom is a personal friend of Rush Limbaugh. I think I remember hearing Rush years ago saying words to the effect that Rush had known Kallstrom a long time and that Kallstrom had integrity, and the accustations of a coverup were untrue.

If true, perhaps Rush might be interested in airing the outcome of this trial?

Rush says the authorities have made that pledge and they are working to that goal. James Kallstrom yesterday even said the crash was "obviously" due to a bomb, but he has since backtracked a bit until he gets more solid information. Sandy says Kallstrom and Freeh are both using the crash as an excuse to push forward their agenda to ban and limit the public's use of cryptography. The Clipper chip is thus making yet another appearance.

Rush says he knows Kallstrom, and he's a man given the responsibility of finding the bad guys. He planted the bugs that John Gotti, after all, and he's told Rush that had the mob been using high-tech and encrypted means to communicate, the FBI would not have been able to get the goods on Gotti.

Sandy, though, points out that Kallstrom planted bugs on Gotti, not wiretaps, and the Clipper chip is basically a way to wiretap a computer. Given that Gotti was trapped with bugs that recorded his human speech, it makes no sense to claim that computer encryption would have stymied the investigation.

Rush, though, says that wiretaps are still being used, but the main point is that Kallstrom wants to catch the bad guys, so he doesn't want the bad guys to have any advantage over the good guys.
