All that effort going into locating a diaperhead! If they had expened 10% of this energy into locating Elvis, we might have been lucky enough to get out of it freshly recorded volume II of Having Fun With Elvis On Stage LP! Oh, well...

One of the things I can assure you is that if the Pakis just happen to nab bin Laden we are going to owe Musharraf out the ass and up the wazoo, and he's never going to let us forget it.

The U.S. Air Force successfully tested the most powerful conventional bomb in its arsenal on March 11, 2003, sending a mushroom cloud billowing into the sky over its Florida test range. It was the first test of the 21,000-pound MOAB explosive device nicknamed the 'mother of all bombs.' (DOD/Reuters) |

The problem. Bin Laden is pinned in a 25 mile radius
The solution ? SATURATION NUCLEAR BARRAGE.

No doubt! I think KSM is singing like a canary. I see ghostwriters lining up big time.

"Greta just announced that bin Laden's location has now been narrowed to a 25 mile radius."
If she really means radius, area = Pi times the square of the radius. I believe this would turn out to be over 1600 square miles.

25 mile radius huh? And in what direction? Or are we talking a 50 mile diameter. A whole lot of ground to cover there...Not holding my breathe hear,..

Area of a circle A= Pi(r*r) (Pi=3.14 r=radius)
A dog is tied in the center of a large back yard with a 4 meter rope. How many square meters of space does the dog have to run?
A=Pi(r*r)
A= 3.14 x (4*4)
A= 3.14 x (16)
A= 50.24 square meters

That's a lot of hectares.

Numbskulls in the press can't get their basic math straight. When Blix (finally) reported the drown's 7.45 meter wingspan, the dopes at ABC and CBS called it "about 8 feet."
If your kid isn't too bright, tell them to go into network news, where intelligence is not required.

OK... I resisted getting into the math discussion to see how that would shake out... but now you have me looking into the "source" HTML to see how the heck you did that PI symbol... lol
