I will say that those commodities stocks are sure on the upswing after years of languishing --- I believe that they were languishing anyway.
I do have an uncommon 20-ounce Englehard .999 silver bar at home in case the New Depression hits.
BTW: Ike is the Serbian death squad commander, and Martin is the hobo/cabbie. The other two are weasel stranglers, in my estimation.

The .45 ACP is and will continue to be loaded!

That's not log-log. It's log versus year.

Puplava has been consistently recommending commodities and gold and silver. They have had outstanding gains -- better than the stock market averages.
Back in 1980, Gold went over $800 an ounce. It quickly dropped to a little over $300 by 1982 and has never been over $500 since. Today it is still under $400. You really believe this is beating the stock market. Do the math.

Although ... it's looks like maybe a log-log, as silly as that would sound might be a picture. 1940 to now looks affine to 1923 to 1930.

You really believe this is beating the stock market. Do the math. Take your own advice, Einstein. People who own mining stocks are making a killing.

Aren't you the master statistician. You pick a start date of Jan. 02, conveniently right after the horrid bottoms of 911, and show a chart that shows upside. Go find some other sucker to push your gold mines on. There is no value creation in gold so it is a losing proposition. But you will never be convinced of that I am sure.

Puplava has been consistently recommending commodities and gold and silver. Had Puplava predicted that GWB would be spending money like a drunken Democrat, to go along with a weak dollar policy, then I'd give him credit.

In related news, you're all going to die. Someday.
That will be $5 each, please. For my penetrating insight and predictive ability.

PROPAGANDA! I love it, they are going with the "ones who are discouraged and have given up looking for work" line again. I had never heard that until the unemployment rate starting going down!

I've never read so much BS in one article. You don't remember the Time Magazine editorial about the Great Depression of 1987. You probably don't even remember the Great Depression of 1987. Oh, the horrors.

Wow, how many outright falsehoods can we find? 1 - the Dow is UP for the year, way up. 2 - the NASDAQ is up over 50% this year. 3 - Real estate values are up, WAY UP in many parts of the country. 4 - People are working, lots and lots of us. 5 - Some stocks have high PE's, many do not. 6 - We are not in deflation, we have disinflation at most. 7 - Consumer debt is high, but just about the same as it was in 1992 coming out of the last recession. This guy is trying to sell something -- FEAR.

I would add to the contents of that well-stocked at-home safe several well-machined steel artifacts with numerous brass and lead accessories. But that's just me, you do what you want. ;-)
