Talking about the Jim Moran imbroglio regarding Jewish influence vis a vis the war, Pat Buchanan sticks his foot in mouth once again by refering to the Jewish lobby as the "Amen Corner".
I like Pat, he is a patriot with a good soul. But is this not stupid? Egad.

Where in the world did you get the impression that Buchanan is a "patriot"? My definition of "patriot" is NOT someone who tells us we should have minded our own business during World War II.

He has used that expression for years...It'll be the rating numbers that gets him fired/hired.

Is there some ultra evil meaning that I'm missing? Amen Corner = The Masters at Augusta, which reminds us of that ultra evil Martha Burke.

I understand the spirit of this; but my perception of Pat is that he is deeply patriotic, despite the misguidance of some of his Sobranian Notions.

Is there some ultra evil meaning that I'm missing? I doubt youre "missing" it.
To: Interious
Good riddance, can't stand him.

No--but truly bad form. C'mon.
With all due respect...

Do you have the ratings numbers? I don't, but think Buchanan and Press has been one of MSNBC's better shows.
To: Interious
I just don't like Pat any more. I haven't liked him since he stabbed the GOP in the back, and tried to help Gore get elected.

Is MSNBC still on the air? Michael Savage hitched himself to the wrong train.

Pat's big problem is he knows people who are Jewish so he thinks this then makes him an expert on Israel.
Hey Pat, spend some of your own money, buy a ticket and learn something.
