I hope I do this right. It's my first ever FR post.
I was curious about him too, Mamzelle, and this is what I came up with:
Jeffrey H. Haas, Attorney, Taos, New Mexico and Chicago, IL is listed as a signatory to an international appeal drafted by the International Association of Lawyers AGainst Nuclear Arms.
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/02/13/1044927734624.html
At findlaw.com Jeffrey H. Haas is listed as a partner in People's Law Office, Chicago, IL.
You can do an exact phrase search on Google to get an idea of what kinds of cases People's Law Office represents.
I also came across some interesting information at
http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Senate/1777/nlgterr.htm which says "The FBIs report on Weather Underground foreign contacts noted that NLG activists Dennis Cunningham and Jeff Haas hosted at least four meetings in their apartments to organize logistical support to WUO fugitives during the period January 7-10, 1971." Cunningham was also a member of People's Law Office.
What do you think, FReepers? Same person?
