Don't agree...as an employer:
She was at work and should not be participating in personal activities. That's grounds for termination right there. If someone sends you an email to your work email address and its not work related, if you choose to answer that email on the clock you get what you deserver.

My IT dept looks at email the same way. My address at work is NOT my FR addy nor do I want any other non work related emails going there. It takes up server space and pisses off the help desk (bad idea to piss off IT).

I have internet access at work but I only use it for company business. I express personal opinion on my personal internet account at home.
